On May 27, a delegation of outstanding Chinese industrial enterprises, led by the International Economic and Technological Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, visited the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as the "Chamber of Commerce"). Liu Quanlei, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and President of Bank of China (Thailand) Co., Ltd., along with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, warmly received the delegation and had in-depth exchanges with the entrepreneurs.

Chairman Liu Quanlei first welcomed the visiting delegation of high-quality industrial enterprises and introduced the overall situation of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce. He stated that the Chamber, established in 2001, has consistently adhered to the guidance of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, actively fulfilling its functions of "protecting rights, conducting research, providing information, promoting, coordinating, and fostering ties," safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises in Thailand, serving as a bridge and link to promote economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between China and Thailand, and serving its member companies in Thailand. Currently, it has nearly 400 member companies. He pointed out that Thailand has significant geographical advantages, serving as ASEAN's logistics, trade, and financial center, making it a top choice for many Chinese-funded enterprises to expand into overseas markets. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, and both sides will actively carry out various economic and trade promotion activities. He hoped that more high-quality Chinese-funded enterprises would participate, and the Chamber would provide comprehensive support.

The delegation visiting Thailand comprised members from various sectors including intelligent manufacturing, medical devices, new materials, information technology, industrial real estate, and energy equipment. Primarily composed of small and medium-sized private industrial enterprises from China, the delegation demonstrated the strong desire and broad capabilities of Chinese industrial companies in expanding into overseas markets. During the meeting, all delegation members expressed their companies' willingness to go global. Liu Jiangang, leader and partner of the delegation from Shenzhen Qiufeng International Consulting Co., Ltd., stated that Thailand offers a favorable business environment, attractive investment policies, and significant market potential. He further noted that the General Chamber of Commerce has established a strong service network in Thailand, further boosting the confidence of enterprises in overseas expansion.

During the meeting, Chairman Liu Quanlei also provided the delegation with a comprehensive overview of the "Thailand-China Cooperation Expo," to be held in Bangkok from September 26th to 28th, 2025, and welcomed enterprises to participate.
