The 22nd China International Agricultural Trade Fair (CATF) successfully concluded on October 19, 2025, at the Tianjin National Convention and Exhibition Center.

Hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the 22nd CATF, themed "Empowering Brands, Revitalizing Rural Areas; Promoting Consumption, Driving Vigorous Economic Development," brought together 3,965 enterprises from across the country, showcasing over 25,000 high-quality agricultural products. Nearly 60,000 professional buyers and industry representatives attended to discuss cooperation. Preliminary data shows that the exhibition attracted over 300,000 visitors, with an average daily attendance of over 100,000. On-site transactions exceeded 100 million RMB, and over 8,500 cooperation agreements were reached, highlighting the increasingly important role of the national agricultural trade market as a national-level platform for agricultural product trade exchange.

This exhibition injected strong momentum into promoting agricultural product consumption. The exhibition featured a high-end brand pavilion, focusing on showcasing regional specialty brands and emerging trendy brands. A series of supporting activities, including a "Brand Night" live broadcast and a national agricultural product buyers' alliance exchange meeting, aimed to strengthen market connections and consumer interaction. More than 100 matchmaking events attracted over 3,000 major buyers, including leading e-commerce platforms, large wholesale markets, community group-buying managers, supply chain companies, and centralized procurement units. These activities comprehensively expanded sales channels and boosted market vitality. Delegations from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region conducted on-site negotiations, while live-stream hosts and community leaders assisted buyers with product selection and online sales. Popular products such as Tianjin Shaowo radish, Yuelong sweet potato, Pingyao beef, and Ningxia Tan lamb became best-selling items.

This expo also highlighted its leading role in promoting industrial development. The "Building a Strong Agricultural Nation" forum focused on strengthening modern agriculture through technological innovation, green transformation, quality improvement, and brand cultivation. The newly designed Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei collaborative exhibition hall emphasized regional coordination and inter-provincial cooperation. Exhibits covered the entire agricultural industry chain, showcasing achievements from production and processing to sales. The "National Food Supply" exhibition area demonstrated the progress in diversifying the food supply system, while the agricultural technology and smart agriculture zone showcased the industry's modernization process. The agricultural culture exhibition area, integrating storytelling and intangible cultural heritage, showcased the profound cultural heritage of Chinese agriculture and added cultural value to agricultural products.

The international influence of this expo continued to grow. Thailand participated as the guest of honor, while pavilions from Italy, Brazil, Uganda, New Zealand, Malaysia, and other countries displayed their distinctive agricultural products. Furthermore, the establishment of the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Agricultural Cooperation Pavilion and the International Food Street further enhanced the expo's cultural and culinary diversity. Sixty-six companies from 19 countries across five continents participated, showcasing over 100 internationally renowned brands. The expo also hosted numerous international business matchmaking events aimed at promoting global agricultural trade and cooperation.

The expo's dissemination and impact were broad and diverse. The organizers invited over 100 online opinion leaders to provide on-site coverage. Tianjin Television, Tianjin Radio, and other mainstream media outlets throughout the city extensively reported on the expo. Promotional channels also included transportation hubs, outdoor screens, the Haihe River light show, customized bus routes, and the "Harvest Express" themed subway line. These initiatives significantly increased public participation and expanded the expo's influence among local residents.
