King of Thailand: Thailand will expand cooperation with China to benefit the people of both countries.
BANGKOK, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn said on October 10 that Thailand is willing to expand exchanges and cooperation with China to benefit the people of both countries and promote regional and global prosperity and development.
The King made the remarks while receiving the credentials presented by Zhang Jianwei, the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Thailand, at Dusit Palace in Bangkok.
The King stated that Thailand and China are friendly neighbors, and the people of the two countries are like brothers and sisters. Thailand is willing to expand exchanges and cooperation with China at the bilateral, regional, and international levels.
Mr. Zhang stated that China and Thailand are good neighbors, good friends, good relatives, and good partners, adding that China attaches great importance to developing friendly relations with Thailand.
Mr. Zhang pointed out that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. China is committed to implementing the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and achieving more results in building a China-Thailand community with a shared future.
